Our Business Card Design tool allows you to move graphic & text layers around with your mouse without installing software on your PC. We also have hundreds of fonts to choose from. You can start with one of our designs and customize it into something completely unique.. In case you still can't find what you are looking for, our graphic artists are ready to help you create a truly unique/custom design for your business cards (under your guidance or course).
If you have many employees in your organization you can set up a master template. We can help you with this process if needed at no charge. From there, you can replicate the design for as many people as you want easily. Ordering business cards for a brand new employee can be done in less than 1 minute (and saved for future use).
We also provide low-cost printing services for resellers and professional graphic artists who can supply print-ready files in vector format, such as PDF or EPS format. Obviously there is no limit to customization if you know how to use graphic software.
Our template selection, web technology, and manufacturing process contribute to the finished product. However, quality print services also require superior customer service and quality control procedures to ensure that you business cards live up to the reputation that Prints Made Easy is known for. For more information on manufacturing and other tips, please visit our Business Cards Education page.
High quality business card printing doesn't have to be expensive. Checkout our Pricing Page to determine the cost with desired quantity and options. Launch a pop-up window with Shipping & Handling rates / policies. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Our automation software and rapid customer service are a few of the reasons that you can get your business cards in a hurry. We provide a countdown timer that is integrated with technology analyzing (in real-time) inventory, orders volume, equipment maintenance, and holidays.
This lets us let us guarantee the date on which you will receive you business cards or we will refund your Shipping and Handling Fees.
PrintsMadeEasy.com has developed proprietary technology to ensure that orders get printed on time at the lowest cost. Part of this process requires that our information systems are linked into the manufacturing process. Our warehouse operations would make for a great episode in "How It's Made" on the Discovery Channel. The Job Definition Format (JDF) is one of the recent technologies that we have been able to integrate with.
If you are technically inclined and curious then keep reading.
- Our automation systems first group together business card orders that have an urgent flag set (only Customer Service can do this).
- Next in line is comes the shipping deadline, which is determined by the guaranteed "Arrival Date" and compared against the shipping method.
- We have an API connection to United Parcel Service (UPS) servers in order to get real-time "time in transit" information.
- If our system has to choose between making a "Standard" shipment on time or a "Overnight" shipment... it will choose the latter. A personal paying for priority shipping must need their business cards in a hurry.
- PDF files containing aggregated orders of business cards are generated automatically and sent to the printing press. This part must happen automatically to avoid human errors.
- The PDF files are printed with a cover sheet that contains a human readable summary, along with a barcode.
- Our high-tech cutting machines are integrated with a barcode scanner that zaps the overset. The cutting machines then issue a request to our back-end systems (in XML format) to download their "Job Information" using the JDF protocol.
The cutting machines receive their instructions and tell the operator exactly how to cut the business cards. For example, they may tell the operator to rotate the sheet by 90 degrees counter clockwise (while the back-stop is automatically being adjusted). This is important since the cutting operator may be cutting different products back-to-back and not remember the routine.
The complexity increases when you factor in priority across separate products, because the cutting machines are shared. We make adjustments to our algorithms regularly in order to improve our reliability and guarantees as the product line (and options) expand.
We are learning lessons from other manufacturing industries, such as automobiles. Using modern manufacturing principals, computers are being used to augment the flexibility of human workers in order to adapt to different situations on-the-fly.
